Russia is limiting access to Facebook and blocking Twitter. The Putin regime is angry about the blocking on Facebook of its propaganda media and it wants to prevent uncensored news about what is happening in Ukraine to circulate in Russian society. The official media are being censored as well. The move can lead to a **fractured internet** where big competing blocks are controlling as much as they can the digital communication among citizens.
