Meta just presented Builder Bot, which is still in a Lab stage but which will unable non-coders and people who are no proficient in game engines to create their own virtual environment by talking.
Mark Zuckerberg just asked for an island, then for clouds, then specifying it should be cumulus clouds, etc.
So what if this goes mainstream? It's another example of the power of AI and of no-coding tools. It would make it necessary for coders and experts in game engines to focus on jobs where their expertise is still very much needed. Or to look more to a consulting role regarding user friendly design of a virtual world.
Also, it would it make possible for people to create their own virtual places where they can determine their own rules, rather than being constrained to rule-making in public virtual spaces made by and governed by corporate entities.
