Bruno Lorval works entirely in the metaverse, using the VR-apps Spatial and Meta Workrooms. He conducts meetings there, organizes events for his collaborators and receives clients.
If more companies would do this, there would be a considerable impact on traffic and real estate. However, Bruno says that the technology is still very early stage. The headset is too heavy and irritating for long usage, there is also the uncanny valley issue with the avatars. It will take a long time to get to permanent offices in the metaverse, but it can be used now already for conferences and meet-ups.
